Creda TPRIII Panel Heaters For Cost-Saving Precision Warmth

Economies and cost savings are very much the order of the day in the Britain of 2010. In this environment heating products such as Creda's TPRIII Electronic Pilot Plus panel heaters, which allow the user to regulate room temperatures very accurately, are proving particularly popular.

The TPRIII panel heaters incorporate electronic thermostats so that temperatures can be controlled to within +/- 0.3oC in the interests of economy, energy efficiency and comfort. As the room temperature nears the desired set point, power to the elements is reduced. The room temperature is closely monitored to an accuracy of less than 0.3ºC, minimising overshoot and temperature drift. This is in sharp contrast to panel heaters with mechanical thermostats, which may overshoot by up to 2°C.

The economy of the TPRIII heaters may be further improved by limiting the thermostat rotational range. This is easily done by means of the mechanical ‘peg and hole' feature hidden beneath a removable cap on the thermostat knob.

"While domestic users are being urged to keep their homes a degree or two cooler to save money and lower their carbon footprints, our trade customers and commercial markets want more control," said Martin Shepherd, sales director at Creda Heating. "In large buildings, whatever their purpose, highly accurate controls are invaluable for energy efficiency and cost savings with no loss of user comfort."

In total there are six models in the TPRIII range with outputs rising from 0.5kW to 2kW, to suit a wide variety of applications. All use finned mineral-filled sheathed type elements and are provided with auto reset thermal cut-outs. Normal 230/240V AC single phase supply is required across the range.

Further features include a pre-set background temperature that is 5ºC below the thermostat setting when connected to a programming unit supporting setback feature. Creda also offers the flexibility of a range of plug-in electronic timer modules, including a 24 hour digital timer, a single-zone pilot wire programmer and a runback timer, all of which can be removed for easy programming. The heaters are compatible with Creda 4 zone wall mounted pilot wire signalling multi-heater programmers.

The TRPIII panel heaters are attractively styled to complement Creda's Eco-Response radiators with pure white powder coated steel and thermoplastic finish and front facing grille for efficient heat projection. Simple detachable wall brackets are provided for easy installation, and the units are provided with 1.2 metres of four core cable (live, neutral, pilot and earth).
